I think you need to hit retry twice, then switch to a different gmail account (if you are playing on Android)

This happens when you move accounts around, so it requires you to switch and relogin.

Have you added multiple gmail accounts to your phone? If not, you need to add another gmail first.

Your email address has 1 account and your device has 1 account. You need to add some more gmail addresses to link them with a gmail address.
